 | This large farm, now an auberge, is owned and has been run by the Morizot family since 1969.
Halfway between the town of Lons-le-Saunier and Les Rousses mountain resort, 50 meters from the Cascades du Hérisson circuit, and at the crossroads of cycling, rambling, and riding circuits, the Auberge is easily recognisable by its large and attractive shaded terrace, an oasis of freshness very much appreciated by ramblers and cyclists alike on hot summer days..
Immediately beside the Auberge, a local artist has created several impressive wood sculptures with a chainsaw. One in the shape of a crayfish, one is a morel (mushroom), but the nicest, is without a doubt, the hedgehog. They have since become a main feature and an integral part of the Auberge. Ravaged by fire and rebuilt during the last war, many renovation works have been undertaken over the years in order to provide the best comfort for our clients, albeit conserving the characteristic charm of older dwellings. |
